Anjuma joined Thackray Williams in September 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor.
Anjuma is currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Litigation department.
Anjuma completed her LLB Law degree at Brunel University London, where she achieved a First Class in her dissertation titled Single Black Female, which explored the challenges ethnic minority women face in the legal profession. This dissertation earned her the award for "The Best Contribution to Promoting Equality and Diversity" in the law school.
Anjuma has a passion for advocacy and public speaking and won the Internal Mooting Competition, in which 200 students participated. Anjuma also won an External Mooting Competition at the Supreme Court, judged by Lord Sales. She later became the Internal and External Mooting Officer, mentoring and teaching future cohorts of students how to moot, and judged the competitions.
She then completed her Legal Practice Course alongside a Master of Law at The University of Law, where she focused on the changes in the Renters Reform Bill.
Outside of work, Anjuma, who served as Equestrian Captain at university, has a love for riding horses. She also enjoys baking and decorating cakes, as well as playing badminton.
