Matthew Lewins
Senior Associate Solicitor
Sevenoaks office
Matt has experience with a range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
- M&A (buying and selling businesses) acting for both buyers and sellers;
- T&Cs for businesses;
- articles of association and shareholders’ agreements;
- debt financings and corporate finance;
- corporate governance (such as share allotments and accompanying updates to a company’s articles of association); and
- commercial contracts.
Clients appreciate Matt’s clear and pragmatic approach to matters and appreciate his ability to get to the core of the issues at hand and explain the relevant points concisely with a client’s commercial considerations in mind.
After working as an English teacher in a high school for 6 years, Matt converted to law in 2016 and completed his training, and stayed, with a well-established firm in Kent before moving to Thackray Williams.
Matt was born, and grew up, in Zimbabwe and moved to England in 2003 after completing his A Levels. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports when the opportunity (and his aging body) allows.
