Sean Sanders served as Managing Partner of Thackray Williams from January 2016, a role he undertook after a distinguished 27-year career, as a residential property specialist.
In his tenure as Managing Partner, Sean spent 9 years at the helm of the Board’s formation, driving the firm’s strategic direction, which ensured its smooth operation and continued success. He was instrumental in guiding the firm successfully through Brexit and the pandemic. He navigated the transition from practicing solicitor to firm management with enthusiasm, embracing the dynamic challenges of the role and prioritising decisions that benefited the firm's staff. A key focus of his leadership was maintaining and enhancing the firm's exceptionally high level of client service.
Effective 1 April 2025, Sean returns to the discipline in which he qualified (real estate and residential conveyancing) and will lead Thackray Williams’ West Wickham office.
A respected member of the Bromley community, where he lives, Sean is also a past President of the Bromley and District Law Society.
Beyond his professional life, Sean is an avid cyclist, having participated in numerous charity bike rides. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and following a wide range of sports.
